YFZ 450: This is the atv that I drive
most often. It can go about 75 mph. to me it is the perfect racing machine
because it has the power and speed. But it is nice when you take off from the
stop sign and you snap the clutch on loose terrain you don't pull a wheelie it
just stays on the ground and flies. Another thing that I like about this atv is
that when you put you feet on the grab bar and you gun the throttle you can pull
a wheelie on the loose terrain.
Big Bear: The Big Bears are good machines
when it comes to smooth/muddy terrain. They are not the racing type. These
machines are not forgiving when they go over bumps in high speed. If you do you
better hold on tight. Especially if you are a fresh atv driver. But these are
nice machines if you need to pull a pop up camper around your house or around
the camp site. they have plenty of power to get the job done.
Blaster: The
Blaster is a great machine to put an inexperienced person on, especially if they
don't know how to drive manual. They don't have too much power or too little
power. This Machine is the best wheelie machine that I have ever driven. It has
plenty of power to get the front wheels up into the air and then from that point
you can switch into another gear and make the wheelie as long as you can.
Grizzly: A Grizzly is a good machine to
ride double on. it has the rear independent suspension and it is an automatic.
It has enough power that you can get up the steepest hills with no problem even
when there is a person on the back. with this Machine you can take it in and out
of four wheel drive and differential lock.
Rincon: the Rincon is a good machine to.
But the one that I drove had some modifications added to it. It had a power
package that gives the atv a bigger louder muffler. It also has a switch that
lets the driver be in automatic or a three gear manual. This machine is good but
it is obnoxiously loud and a bad choice for ridding at night.
Kodiak:
The Kodiak is another good machine. It is the best for all of the
experienced riders that don't wont to go to fast but yet wont to go into the
mud. It is very reliable and is a fun machine to ride it is a medium size
machine that can do at least 55mph. This one that I drove was is in mint
condition and has been for many years.
Hawkeye:
The Hawkeye is a good machine for the inexperienced riders it has
enough power to get up steep hills and it can go 40-45mph. It is a good machine
for those that wont to ride and see the scenery that is out on the trails. It is
a very pleasant machine and is perfect for people that wont to hit some mud
puddles and yet not get kicked off of it because it has to much power.
